Its 2007 already!

Well hello there!

I know its been a very long time since I've written on here but its been crazy, have barely had time to myself!

Just a quick update, I went to Edinburgh in Scotland for new years for 4 days which was awesome. Was meant to be going to this massive street party but it got cancelled because it was so windy which was a shame. Was there with about 10 mates so we still had a great time.

2 weekends ago I went to France (again!) and met up with my friend Pearl there. I'd seen her in July in Paris so was very cool to see another familiar face again within 6 months. We did the typical french thing and drank lots of champagne (the real stuff!) and ate lots of cheese, so good! But I seriously ate enough cheese to last me the next 6 months. I flew into Geneva and we stayed in Annecy and Chamonix, very cool places! And saw lots of snow on the mountains altho not as much as there should've been for this time of year.

And speaking of snow, it snowed here last Wednesday morning! I heard my flatmate up early so went to see him and he said quick, look outside! And our backyard looked lovely all covered in snow! I've taken a few photos which I'll put on here at some stage. Unfortunately it was melting by the time I left for work (8.30) but was still enough around to take photos. Spot the tourist!!

It was Australia Day on Friday which we thought was a good excuse to go to the pub, well any excuse is good! There's a local pub my workmates and I go to most Fridays. I'm already a regular but thats all good!

With it beign Waitangi day next week, we have a few celebrations here on Saturday. It's a massive pub crawl which all the kiwi's do, last year there was 8,000 of us! Yes eight thousand! Starts about 10am and everyone eventually meets at Westminster where all the guys do the haka, I cant wait! We take over London for the day!!

Work is going great, really loving what I do, working for an oil company. And the people I work with are fun so it makes the days go pretty quickly! If I leave the office before 6.30pm, its been a good day :)

I've been trying to catch on emails, thanks so much to those of you who have emailed me! I've found I've been better at calling people on landlines (even at work, hehe) so if you want a random call sometime, let me know your landline and I'll try my best to figure out the time difference before I call! NZ is 13 hours ahead if thats any help (its 9pm here now, so its 10am in NZ now).

Hope you are all enjoying NZ! Looking forward to seeing those of you coming over this year soon! Including Mum and Dad :)

Hopefully talk to you soon!!!

Lots of London Love and Hugs!

Beth xoxo
